Earlier this month Brookson were on hand to advise contractors at this year’s Freelancer Money Box event in London, organised by IPSE (The Association of Independent Professionals and the Self-Employed). Freelancer Money Box gives self-employed workers across the UK a chance to meet with and hear from financial experts who can help answer all your burning business questions. The event provided clients with the opportunity to meet with professionals on a face to face across a range of many different experts and other self-employed individuals across many different sectors, this event also helped the attendees gain valuable advice on everything from banking, accountancy, mortgages, pensions, tax and financial planning which will help advance your career.

As specialist contractor accountants, Brookson were on hand to speak to candidates and offer them advice and guidance on their working options. With over 20 years’ experience and having helped over 70,000 contractors, freelancers and self-employed professionals to date, you’ll be able to rest assured that you’ll be speaking to those in the know who will keep you safe and compliant whilst maximising your earnings.

Commenting about the event Brookson’s Senior Compliance Manager said “It was great to meet such an engaging audience at the Freelancer MoneyBox event who were keen to understand how they can better manage their finances as freelancers and how some of the recent changes to IR35 and flat rate VAT could impact them”
