Over the course of 2019 Brookson legal, The IR35 experts, will deliver a series of IR35 events to REC members, ensuring recruitment agencies are educated on the legislation change and are prepared for April 2020.

Brookson Legal MD says: “Brookson has an excellent relationship with The REC, which provides vital support to its members at times of significant legislative change. We are delighted to partner with The REC to help educate and inform its members on the key role they have to play in supporting their clients to ensure that the new IR35 private sector rules are implemented with the least disruption possible.”

Carol Scott, REC Head of Corporate Membership says: ‘We are delighted to partner with Brookson to help REC members prepare for the new rules on how contractors working in the private sector pay tax. The reforms could significantly impede labour market agility at a time when UK businesses need it most. The series of events will help our members be ready for the planned changes to taxation which are due to come into effect a year from now.”
